At South Bay, we have continually upgraded the club over the last three years, and the transformation now provides you with one of the top fitness facilities in the country.
This year, we have upgraded the lobby and café seating area, and continued the interior improvements throughout the club with new flooring, furniture and comfortable seating.
Nearly all of the cardio equipment has been replaced, and we have made major changes in the strength training equipment layout to provide you with more space for functional training and movement-based workouts. Volleyball has been added to the back basketball court to round out our programming efforts.

Try TRX Cross Training Today!
This high energy, super charged small group suspension training enables the student to train strength, endurance, balance, coordination, flexibility, power and core stability all at once. Using the TRX, the desired percentage of body weight is loaded onto the targeted body zone and animated as an exercise movement. Introductory sessions are offered for those interested in learning this new way of training.
All coaches are certified personal trainers.
Trained over 40 hours in TRX certification.
$ 25.00 per session or 10 sessions for $150.00

We offer over 25 Yoga classes with a wide variety of styles and levels with some of the top instructors in the South Bay. Our dedicated Yoga Studio is State of the Art creating a peaceful, stress free environment for you to tap into your mind, body and spirit. Muay Thai classes are available five times a week for $20 per month.
The Muay Thai program at Spectrum is lead by martial artist Ed Wedding. Ed has trained in the martial arts for over 20 years. He is a former United World Muay Thai Association kickboxing champion with a record of 18-1. This class is perfect for all fitness levels because you can work at your own pace. South Bay Pilates
Make positive difference in your health without taking a toll on your body with Pilates. Pilates refreshes your mind as well as your body. Full body workouts develop a strong core, flat abdominals and a strong back. No body part is left out. Long lean muscles, improved flexibility and an evenly conditioned body will improve sports performance, prevent injury and improve your overall quality of life. Your movements will become more efficient. Pilates is gentle, but it’s also challenging.
At the Spectrum Club South Bay, our instructors are all certified and work with you as an individual. They can customize a one-on-one experience to meet your individual goals or special needs using Pilates principles. Our studio is conveniently located in your gym and equipped with state of the art Pilates apparatus.

Keep Your Family Safe with Infant Swim Self Rescue™ Survival Swimming Lessons
Infant Swimming Resource goes beyond traditional swimming instruction, by teaching children 6 months to 6 years old ISR Self Rescue™ techniques designed to help them survive should they find themselves in the water alone. Spectrum South Bay will begin offers ISR survival swimming lessons that combine the fun of swimming with potentially lifesaving swimming skills.
ISR instruction is the result of over 45 years of research and achieves unparalleled results. Give your child the competence, confidence and skills of aquatic safety with the Infant Swimming Resource’s Self Rescue program.
What Your Child Will Learn
ISR’s unique results are achieved through customized, safe and effective, one-on-one lessons with only your child and instructor in the water. All instructors are trained and certified by ISR. Children ages 6 months to 1 year learn the ISR Self-Rescue™ skill of rolling onto their backs to float, rest and breathe, and to maintain this position until help arrives.
Children 1 to 6 years old will learn the full ISR Self-Rescue sequence of swimming until they need air, rotating onto the back to float, and then rolling back over to continue swimming. Students are taught to repeat this sequence until they reach the safety of the steps, side of the pool, or shoreline.
• First winter session begins January 6th.
• Each class lasts 10 minutes, 5 days a week for 6 weeks
• Classes are scheduled from 8 am until 2 pm, Monday through Friday

Masters Swim Coach
Masters Swim offers structured, coached swim workouts that are designed to help swimmers improve fitness, endurance, speed and/or train for specific goals. The workouts utilize interval training and concentrate on fine tuning stroke technique. All levels are welcome; however, basic swimming skills are required.There is a $25 processing and $15 monthly fee for this program.
