Our Uptown health club offers a comprehensive boutique quality Pilates Reformer Studio, equipped with modern Reformers and accessories. The Pilates Reformer is equipment created to incorporate the Pilates exercise technique for a challenging and intense workout. Springs, leverage and body weight are used as resistance while performing movements targeting specific muscle groups. Workouts consist of controlled, flowing movements working your muscles through a full range of motion. The reformer adds increased resistance and by working to overcome this resistance, the training provides a total body workout, improving core strength, flexibility, balance, and muscle endurance.

Pilates Mat classes are a great option for those unfamiliar with the Pilates method. Both Reformer and Mat classes can be alternated with cardio workouts and other forms of exercise to achieve overall symmetry in a fitness plan.
