Training Philosophy or Slogan
The primary reason I decided to become a personal trainer is:
I first became interested in fitness when:
One of the primary reasons I am so passionate about fitness is:
Being fit improves every aspect of my life. I can do things that others may not be able to do because of my fitness level. I feel better and am healthier because of it, and my bad back has improved greatly due to strengthening my core and the muscle around my lower back.
My approach to training people is different because:
I feel the most important aspect of fitness is:
Will and I have been working together now for about two months. When our training began, Will explained to me that he wasn't necessarily looking to lose weight; he simply wanted to increase his strength and decrease his body fat percentage. In our time together, Will has gained muscle mass and strength while also losing 7 pounds. Awesome job!
During one of my first sessions with Melvin, I gave him a workout challenge that I call chest explosions. The workout consists of putting a plastic box used for in body pump and for box jumps on either side of you. You start in a wide angle push up position on top of the boxes and drop down into a tricep push up on the ground. Very quickly you complete the push up and throw yourself back onto the boxes. The first day Melvin swore to me that he would complete it soon. Today nearly two months later Melvin threw himself onto those boxes six times in a row like he had been doing them for years.
